Week 5: Haggai Ch. 1

In our last chapter in Ezra (chapter 4), the exiles stopped working on the house of God. Turns out—they stopped for nearly sixteen years! In the book of Haggai, God addresses their disobedience through the prophet, telling them, “Consider your ways!”

This short, prophetic book is a timely word for us today. Because it fits right in the middle of Ezra, we will study these two chapters of Haggai and return to Ezra afterward. I pray the Lord uses this book in a mighty way in your life, ultimately moving you to cling all the more to Him.
